Our story

Theha, producer of Fruit Bakery products, was founded in 1954 by Abraham Theunisse in the village of Harderwijk in the Netherlands. Initially as a confectionery factory for pineapple and peppermint flavoured candies.

However, due to increasing competition in candy manufacturing, he soon decided to focus on coconut-based products. In 1972, he took a big step forward by launching pre-sliced and packed coconut slices in the emerging supermarket sector, making Theha the leading coconut slices manufacturer in the Netherlands.
